Mistake 1 — Skipping the clean
Kitchen grease, dust and wood polish are invisible but block the bond completely. Always wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry fully before sticking anything.
Mistake 2 — Not pressing long enough
A quick dab isn’t enough. Press every adhesive pad firmly for a full 30 seconds — count it out, don’t estimate it.
Mistake 3 — Testing too soon
The adhesive needs 24 hours to reach full strength. A lock that seems loose on day one is often just not cured yet — wait before judging it.
If it still won’t stick
Very textured, oily or curved surfaces sometimes need the strap-style latches instead of a flat adhesive pad — message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we’ll suggest the right product.
