    The living room

Start with the centre table — corner guards on every corner, and move fragile décor two shelves up. Secure the TV unit to the wall if it can tip, and tuck cables behind the furniture or into cable covers.

💡Secure Cuddle tip: Corner Guards and Edge Protectors handle the sharp furniture in one sitting.

    The kitchen

The room parents worry about most, and rightly so. Latch every low cabinet, lock the oven door, and keep the gas cylinder area completely off-limits. If you can, gate the kitchen doorway during cooking hours.

💡Secure Cuddle tip: A Retractable Gate rolls away when the cooking is done.

    The bedroom

If your baby sleeps in the family bed, keep the mattress low or place a thick mat beside it to soften rolling falls. Keep the bedside table clear of medicines and small objects, and cover the sockets behind the bed.

    The bathroom

Slippery floors and low buckets are the two hazards to manage. Empty buckets immediately after use, add an anti-slip mat, and latch the cabinet with cleaning supplies.

    The balcony

The most Indian of hazards — a beautiful balcony with horizontal railings a toddler can climb. Never leave furniture near the railing, and gate the balcony door until your child is older.
